Since 1993, Vilanova i la Geltrú council has been involved in the organization of the Galactica Inventors’ Fair which has been held in the town itself.
After more than 13 years of Fairs, the decision was made to take a break in 2006 to set out the guidelines to successfully take this Fair into a new phase.
In 2008 the Council asked the Stereonoise Invention Studio to conceptualize, structure and direct this new phase.
Run by the inventor and creator Pep Torres from Barcelona, the Stereonoise Invention Studio has put together a new model for the inventors’ fair to be held in Vilanova i la Geltrú over the next few years.
This first Fair outlines the basic ideas on which to create a solid and unique project within the international panorama of Inventors’ Fair
As is appropriate in this case, the approach, with regard to content as well as set up and methodology, breaks the standard fair mould.
